These are really well made and ideal for cycling. I don't think they would offer enough protection for motor bikes but excellent for mountain biking. Very comfortable and flexible where they need to be. Would caution anyone buying to be conservative on sizing, I am a reasonably big guy but the XL is far too big for me. Still an excellent product for the money.
